How Daylight Data is Recorded

Modified on Wed, 8 Jul at 5:12 AM

To ensure Daylight Reports are accurate, verify the following:

  • The daylight sensor is commissioned and assigned to the correct room or zone.
  • The lux sensor is calibrated correctly.
  • The device is online and communicating with the gateway.
  • The correct time zone is configured.
  • The gateway is synchronized with the platform.
  • The sampling interval is configured as required.
  • The daylight sensor is not obstructed by objects that could affect the lux readings.

Data Recording Process

  • The daylight sensor continuously measures the ambient light level (lux).
  • Lux readings are recorded at the configured sampling interval.
  • Each reading is stored with a timestamp.
  • The recorded data is uploaded to the Lumos Controls platform.
  • The platform processes the data to generate Daylight Trend reports.
