- Install light devices and daylight sensors in the location where you want to implement Daylight harvesting
- Commission the installed light devices and daylight sensors
- Schedule the daylight sensor
- Configure settings for the daylight sensor to define how it should send trigger on detecting the ambient light
- Configure the daylight harvesting mode for the sensor:
- Open Loop- Open Loop mode can be chosen to control larger areas with multiple adjacent control zones in dimming applications (e.g., an open office). To learn more, click here
- Closed Loop- In Closed Loop mode, the daylight sensor will be configured with a particular light level (in 'Lux' or 'V') using any of the three Closed loop methods. The aim is to maintain this light level. To learn more, click here
- Custom- Custom mode can be chosen as the daylight harvesting mode if the requirement is to activate a scene when daylight sensor detects an ambient light level. To learn more, click here
- Associate the daylight sensor to the light device that should respond to the daylight sensor trigger
- Configure settings for the light device to define how it should respond to the daylight sensor triggers
- Add the light devices and the daylight sensor to a group if you want multiple light devices to respond to the daylight sensor triggers
- Configure Daylight sensor settings for the group to define how a group of lights should respond to the daylight sensor triggers
