Communication Diagnostics

Communication Diagnostics refers to a temporary troubleshooting mode within the app that helps verify whether AV commands from the AV keypad are successfully reaching the Enor EU gateway and being recognized during configured lighting control operations. This serves as an option to identify the correctness of AV integration.

When some AV button configured with lighting action is not working, then user can do the communication diagnostics to check the high-level issue. This section will capture the AV button pressed by user within the specified time of diagnostic mode.

Note: This section does not fix issues but provides possible causes or guidelines to check when problems occur. This cannot be used for identifying the issues of AV not responding to the lighting button press.

Steps to run the Communication Diagnostics are:

  1. Select start button to initiate the diagnosis
  2. App shall collect and display the corresponding AV buttons pressed by user via Enor EU during the diagnostics period
  3. The time period for the diagnostics shall be 90sec
  4. There is a ‘Stop’ option to stop and move out from the diagnostics mode.







Note: The actions for button presses will be still functional in this mode as usual

       5. If app doesn’t get any AV button presses from AV GW during the diagnostic mode, then app shall show the error  

           screen with possible causes as checklist for user to check and confirm

       6. Once the diagnostic mode is completed, user can close or restart the mode again if needed.
