Lumos Controls provides near real-time energy reports of the devices in every 15mins interval. The system collects real-time energy data, aggregates it over 15-minute intervals, and transmits to the cloud for visualization and reporting. The system is also capable of sharing the energy data using REST APIs.
The Energy Consumption report provides details about the energy consumed by the installed devices. The report shall provide information about the total energy consumed in terms of kWh or the cost of energy consumption.
To ensure that accurate data is available in Energy Consumption Reports, the below are required-
- The Plug Load controller needs to be connected to the luminaire for which energy consumption data needs to be recorded.
- There has to be a gateway (Enor E, Enor U) in the ecosystem, with an active connection to the cloud via the internet.
User can login using the same credentials used to login to the Lumos Controls mobile app. To login to the Web app:

Lumos Controls provides Web reports that are designed to help buildings continuously improve. By leveraging the IoT platform on which the solution is built, Lumos Controls can collect information from its devices like Controllers, Drivers and Sensors and use it to generate meaningful reports and analytics. Reports can be seen for occupancy, device usage and energy consumption.
Lumos Controls provides 2 kinds of reports:
- Trend reports showcase data as it is. Data can be seen at building, floor, zone, group or device level
- Analytics reports build on trend report data to generate meaningful insights. Examples include comparisons between areas, occupancy heatmaps
These two kinds of reports are available for Occupancy, Usage and Energy consumption data. Reports and analytics can be viewed for the entire building, a single floor, a single zone, a single group right down to a single device, for a day, a week or a month
- In the login page, enter your User name and Password (Created and used to login to the Lumos Controls mobile app)
- Click on the ‘Sign In’ button to login. By default, the Reports tab will be displayed (Trends - Energy reports)
3. Select the Energy option
4. Select the Date, Week or Month as required
5. Select the Floor, the Zone, the Group and the Plug Load Control Device from the parameters given on top. This can be done by selecting the drop down arrow adjacent to each parameter mentioned.
Energy consumption report will be displayed.
The Energy Savings achieved will be displayed at the bottom.
The Energy reports can be exported and saved in the below given formats as per the requirement.
Analytics Reports
Energy consumption data may be represented in kWh or cost (Euro or dollars). The cost shall be calculated based on the rate per kWh and currency configured in Report settings. By default, data shall be represented in kWh and the floor-based and time-based graph of the building shall be displayed. Filters are available to see data at a Zone, Group, or Device Level.
- Limits: Limits for Energy consumption can be set in Report Settings. Limits show up as black dots on the floor/ zone/ group/ device-based analysis graphs. They enable a user to analyse usage patterns and raise flags if abnormal usage is observed.
- Comparison: Energy consumption can be compared time-wise and floor/ zone/ group/device-wise. Time-based comparisons allow a user to compare usage patterns on 2 different days/weeks/months for a particular building/floor/zone/group/device.
- Energy consumption heatmap allows a user to view a visualization of the usage of a floor/zone. There is also a playback option to visualize the usage patterns throughout the selected day/week/month. To view the heatmap for a floor/zone, the PNG floor map of the floor needs to be uploaded beforehand in the Building Management section.
1. Select the Energy option.
2. The energy consumption report can be viewed in dollars too.
3. Select the Date, Week or Month as required
4. Select the Floor, the Zone, the Group and the Plug Load Control Device from the parameters given on top.
