Manual control of Plug Load Controls allows users to directly manage connected devices without relying on automated schedules or occupancy-based triggers. This feature is essential for situations where on-demand operation is needed, providing flexibility and immediate response to user commands.

Turn plug loads ON or OFF as needed
Override automation settings temporarily

In this section we will understand how to control Plug Load Control device Radiar AR10 via a 1 Button Switch

PSC-DM-WS-100-BLE-WS and a 4 Button switch PSC-DM-WS-400-BLE-WS.

Commissioning the Devices

Commissioning Steps for RADIAR AR10

Power on the Radiar AR10 device
The device will enter pairing mode, ready for commissioning
Click on the ‘+’ button in the app
Select the ‘Add Device’ option
Tap on ‘Tap here’, and the device will appear in the list
Press the ‘+’ button next to the detected device
The device will be commissioned successfully
Rename the device if desired
Click ‘Ok’ to save the name

Commissioning Steps for Switch

Press the ‘+’ button next to the detected device
The device will be commissioned successfully
Rename the switch if required

Control the Plug Load Controller via Switch (having Default Configuration)

Device : PSC-DM-WS-100-BLE-WS (1 Button switch)

PSC-DM-WS-100-BLE-WS is a 1 Button AC powered switch which can be used to Switch On or Off the devices manually.

Navigate to the ‘Groups’ tab
Create a new Group by selecting the ‘+’icon on the top right
Rename the Group with the desired name
Select the icon to add devices to the Group.
Add the Radiar AR10(Plug Load Control) to the Group by clicking on the ‘+’ sign next to the device
Add the Switch to the Group by clicking on the ‘+’ sign next to the device

2. Control the Plug Load Controller via Switch (Configurable)

Device : PSC-DM-WS-400-BLE-WS (4Button switch)

PSC-DM-WS-400-BLE-WS wirelessly communicates with Bluetooth mesh controllers to provide scene and light level control to lighting in the space. It can be installed in a standard 1-gang wall box. The field-customizable buttons can be programmed for ON/OFF/RAISE/ LOWER preset scenes or white tuning.

Follow the steps given above to commission and rename the switch.

Click on the icon of the PSC-DM-WS-400-BLE-WS switch
On the Device Settings page, select ‘Switch Configuration’
The Rocker Configuration page will be displayed

Choose the button for which custom action is to be set

For eg, Set Action 1

Select Target > Select Favourite Luminaire> Select the Device – Radiar AR10(Plug Load Control) > Select Action – On > Click ‘Ok’

For Set Action 2

Select Target > Select Favourite Luminaire> Select the Device – RADIAR AR10(Plug Load Control) > Select Action – Off > Click ‘Ok’
