Daylight Savings Intelligence

Schedules and Sensor Activation periods created using Lumos Controls now have Daylight Savings intelligence. This means that in regions where daylight savings advances the clock by 1 hour in summer, Lumos Controls devices automatically adjust their clocks accordingly. The same happens after summer, when the clocks are adjusted to run an hour later.

All you need to gain access to this feature is a Lumos Controls Gateway (Enor E or Enor U) with cloud connectivity in the network.

Steps to enable daylight savings in accounts:

• Pair the Gateway in the account. This will result in an automatic firmware update of the Gateway to the version that supports DST. (Existing gateways will have to be re-paired)
• Gateway settings will have an additional option to choose “Regionâ€. This is to identify whether the Gateway is being used in a region that has daylight saving differences in time (like Italy) or no differences (like India). This has to be configured for each Gateway through which you wish to access this feature.
•  Create schedules from the app like you would do normally. 
  •  iOS app version needs to be 3.0.54 or later
  •  Android app version needs to be 4.0.20 or later
    
    

  After the above steps are done, existing Schedules in the system will have to be saved again so that the cloud, app, the daylight-saving service and devices are in sync with the Schedule timings.

  Please note: Existing Schedules will continue to run the same way if the region is not changed from the Gateway.
