During device commissioning using the Lumos Controls mobile app, we need to enter the Security code of the device. The default Security code configured is '0000'. User can change the device Security code to prevent the devices being commissioned by other users. If we change the default Security code and later forget the same, then we will not be able to commission the devices again to another account. In such instances:
- Contact the Lumos Controls support team. Share the Lumos Controls account name to which the devices are to be commissioned
- For this account, Support team will enable the option to commission the devices without the Security code for a specific time (30 minutes or 60 minutes)
- During this specific time, User will be able to commission the devices. After commissioning, the Security code will be reset to '0000'. The Security code can be later changed for the device from Device Settings -> Additional Settings -> Device Configuration Settings
