With DALI, each luminaire in the system reports its test results back to the controller and, if a fault is detected, the unique address of the luminaire means that the source as well as the nature of the problem is immediately identified.

The Emergency Test Reports is a record of the results of initiated function/duration tests. The reports contain the below information which help to pinpoint the area that requires attention-

  • The type of test
  • Tested device category (individual or group)
  • Tested date and time
  • Whether the test was successful or not.
  • Failures if any; and the type of failures such as circuit error, battery error or luminaire error

The record of individual test results will be kept and made available for a legally defined period of time. The results can also be exported as PDF or Spreadsheets.
