When Auto Calibration option is enabled, the daylight sensor reads different light levels falling on it over a duration of 24 hours. This helps users to identify the minimum light level and maximum light (in lux units) the sensor is exposed to, in the environment in which it is installed.
From the calibrated values, the least and greatest value is automatically configured as the Min and Max values of the 'Light response curve'. When the sensor is being auto calibrated, the manual open loop configurations cannot be done.
- Go to the 'Daylight sensor settings' of the sensor
- Click on the icon on the 'Light response curve' under 'Open Loop'
- Enable the option 'Auto Calibration'
- Once enabled, auto calibration will be completed in 24 hours (will be disabled after 24 hours)
- The calibrated values can be read while auto calibration is in progress by clicking on the 'Read' button
- When auto calibration is completed, the least and the greatest values from the lot will be automatically configured as the Min and Max lux values
- Disable 'Auto Calibration' if you want to manually configure open loop values
